1955 Chevrolet 3100 - 2nd Series
My wife has always wanted a vintage truck. We picked this up last year kinda on a whim, after driving by it for over 9 months.
It has been modified and restored to what I would call good condition. It
is not show quality, but it looks great going down the road. I am still trying to figure out what all of the modifications are. I was told
at the sale that it had a 350 engine (year unknown) and had 4:11 gears in the
rear end. They said the transmission was stock. Three speed shift on
the column with overdrive.
I am now in the process fixing all of the things that
don't work, or I don't like. So far it's been little stuff like turn signals, heater and heater fan, fresh air
vents, overdrive, etc.... We do drive it and use it (Very Carefully) for a pickup.
